I had a unit at the rear of the facility that was a walk-thru indoor unit, not a drive-thru or exterior unit. Enough lighting and cameras that I felt safe. Climate control remained working for the 2 months I used it. "First of all the good clean facility, at least my building/unit. I have no reservations recommending Sterling Storage Solutions and Sharon, and will use them if I ever need storage in the area for another move or any other reason. You just can't find customer service like this anywhere else - it was fantastic (and I wish my moving company had even an ounce of Sharon's customer service). I felt so bad that she had kept a storage unit for us during that time, but she was still super nice even when I told her we wouldn't need the unit after she held it for over 2 months. In the end, my items were delayed so long (due to a very bad situation with our movers) that we moved into a new home and our items never needed to be stored. Our items were delayed by over a month, and she continued to hold the unit for us, no questions asked. She held a storage unit for us without needing a deposit. Her prices were competitive and her customer service was phenomenal. I spoke with and emailed with Sharon at Sterling Storage Solutions.
As such, we needed a place to store our items. My family moved from TX to MA without having bought a home prior to the move, with plans to stay with family while we continued to look for a place. I started with a small unit and moved upward as my storage needs increased. This is the best storage facility! I've been here for 2 years and have been extremely satisfied with the facility and more importantly with the folks who run it! Pete is friendly, cooperative and helpful. This facility is the best! Handy, clean, safe and the team that run it are super nice and helpful. I needed a space for my daughter ASAP and we worked it out! Got the size I needed, timing good, etc. "UPDATE: 2021.I’m back! Once again, Pete has been extraordinarily helpful and prompt. North Reading Storage Solutions is highly recommended." My monthly payment is automatically deducted from my checking account. The facility is temperature is controlled by computer, and set at approximately 55 degrees.

All areas of the facility, including the restroom (which also requires a digital code to enter) are well lit and wheelchair accessible. The locker has the (capacity) to occupy the equivalent of two compact cars, and costs $350/month. The storage locker I use is located on the second floor.

Three freight size elevators are available to access the 2nd and 3rd levels with sturdy pull carts. Storage rooms are available on three levels. Employees of North Reading Storage Solutions, who are well versed in the storage industry, regularly walk the hallways and report any unusual circumstances (anomalies) to their managers. Most of the facility's exterior and ALL hallways of each floor are well illuminated and monitored on approximately 30 closed circuit televisions located in the office. Trucks with heights exceeding the garage door height, MUST be parked and unloaded in the parking lot. (Users MUST be mindful of the height of their truck). This allows users to drive into the facility, park their vehicle, unload without getting wet from rain or snow. Digital codes are required to enter and leave the facility on foot, or through a drive thru garage entrance. Navigation to the facility is not necessary but may be helpful for those not familiar with the area.
